Meet Our Co-Host: Cloe Cabrera
We are delighted to have Cloe Cabrera, an award-winning journalist known for her compelling storytelling and in-depth coverage of social issues, culture, and diversity, as our event co-host. With over two decades in the media industry, Cloe has earned global acclaim for her impactful reporting in leading publications and news outlets.
Before her journalism career, Cloe made history as the first Black and Hispanic woman crowned Miss Florida USA and as the first runner-up in the Miss USA pageant. She later became Miss World USA and a top finalist in the Miss World contest.
Cloe's rich background in beauty and media empowers her to inspire others, focusing on empowerment, representation, and integrity. Her dedication to uplifting diverse voices makes her the perfect co-host for "A Dining Room of Hope," guiding us through this inspiring event.

They are an exclusive, national traveling fashion theatrical experience in support of Aaron's House Dining Room of Hope. Meet Our Co-Host: J Ricc Rollins
J. Ricc Rollins, II is a multifaceted talent from Tampa, Florida, known for his impactful contributions across media, literature, faith, and fashion. An award-winning talk show host, motivational speaker, author, pastor, and proud father of two, Ricc's career spans various fields, making him a true creative force.
He first gained recognition with The Ricc Rollins Show and FOX 13’s UpFront with Ricc Rollins
, interviewing stars like Patti LaBelle and Angela Bassett. His influence extends to the literary world as the bestselling author of the “Breathing Chronicles” series and his acclaimed photography, featured in notable publications.
A dedicated faith leader, Ricc has pastored several churches in the Tampa area, fostering inclusive communities focused on spiritual growth. Kathy Castor, US Congresswoman
Kathy Castor is a dedicated American politician and lawyer who has been serving as the U.S. Representative for Florida's 14th Congressional District since 2007. Representing Tampa and parts of Hillsborough County, she is the first woman to hold this position for the area. A Democrat, Castor is a staunch advocate for clean energy, environmental justice, and coastal protection. As Chair of the House Select Committee on the Climate Crisis, she plays a key role in shaping national climate policy. Castor's legislative efforts have focused on lowering healthcare costs, particularly through her work on the Affordable Care Act, and she continues to champion the expansion of Medicaid in Florida. A native Floridian, she earned her degrees from Emory University and Florida State University College of Law. Throughout her career, she has been committed to improving the lives of her constituents, advocating for affordable healthcare, veteran support, and environmental protections.

Dr. Kathryn Syed, M.D.
Dr. Syed graduated with honors from Iberoamerican University in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, in 2011. She completed her family medicine residency at Columbus Regional Piedmont in Georgia, graduating in 2014, and is board certified in family medicine. After residency, Dr. Syed moved to Tampa, Florida, where she has focused on community health. Since joining Gracepoint as the Director of Primary Care in 2019, she has expanded primary care services and integrated care for the community mental health population. Dr. Syed also initiated the Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT) program at Gracepoint. She has a particular interest in mental health, substance abuse, and infectious disease, dedicating her career to providing comprehensive care to her patients.

Experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Dr. Joann Ford, DNP, PMHNP-BC, is a highly regarded Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner based in Riverview, FL. She is known for her unwavering commitment to enhancing the health and well-being of her patients. Dr. Ford’s extensive experience in mental health care, combined with her meticulous attention to detail, ensures the highest quality of care in her practice. Recognized for her strong communication skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, Dr. Ford excels in managing patient care efficiently. We are honored to have Dr. Ford join the expert panel, where her insights on mental health and holistic care will be invaluable in exploring the complexities of psychiatric treatment and mental health advocacy.
Dr. Vashaun O. Williams
Medical Director of Psychiatry
Dr. Vashaun O. Williams is a Board Certified Psychiatrist specializing in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry. As the Medical Director of Psychiatry at Gracepoint, he leads the Children’s Outpatient Center in Tampa, FL, where he is deeply committed to providing comprehensive mental health care. With a focus on the unique needs of children and adolescents, Dr. Williams blends his extensive expertise with a compassionate approach, ensuring that his patients receive the highest level of care. Under his leadership, Gracepoint continues to be a vital resource for individuals and families in the community, offering hope and support.
